Get POPCan out to where you live! The publication is currently distributed in Toronto, but we would like to venture outside of the city and into other parts of Ontario and Canada. If you live in an area outside of Toronto (this includes suburbs, ie. Markham) and know of stores that are willing to sell POPCan on consignment, help us by distributing our issues to them. Or you can even sell them for us at a show or event. Email us for more information.
POPCan is always looking for writers to contribute their work or to join the writing staff. Features on established, independent or local artists are welcome, as well as show and album reviews. We also accept photographs of events. The only requirement the piece must fulfill is that it must be Canadian content, whether in location, or artist origin. Unfortunately, POPCan cannot commission free-lance work at the moment, thus all contributions are made on a volunatry basis. A complimentary issue of POPCan will be given to the contributor if submitted work is used. Regular staff writers should be able to meet deadlines and work independently.
